>Most recently, I have decided to delete the Independent Titan. I have so much on my plate right now that there is no way that I can run 2 blogs at the same time with my schedule. Looking down the road, I can see that things are going to get even more busy for me and thus another thought has crossed my mind. The Complaint Department may be shutting its doors in the near future. I have toyed with the idea for a few days now, but haven’t made a solid decision as of yet. Thing is, I follow a few people now on Facebook and to me, that “may” take the place of this blog.

When I started this blog, I wasn’t looking for some sort of attention, nay nay. I really thought there were people out there that were kind of pissed off at the same shit I sometimes get exposed to on a daily basis. The intention was to get people to see my posts and maybe have a few thought go through their head like, “Yeah, ya know, that IS irritating”, or something like that. Seems lately that some fellow bloggers are leaving the scene like Sniderman and Sky Girl. They have their reasons and I’m cool with that. So cool, that I may be joining them.

I’m the Complaint Department Manager and I sadly approve this message.

Lombard to be more specific. I forgot that I still had these damn pictures as I tried to pocket some reward money for finding that damn bird. I happened to find this poster on a utility pole right by the Metra train station and soon after seeing this I made a discovery. All I can say is that my senses were really keen that day and just so happen to do a bit of short detective work and actually found the missing bird, Ozzie.

Now, as you can see by the photo above, the sign said NOTHING about whether or not this bird was to be found dead or alive. HOWEVER, Ozzie’s owner didn’t happen to find my detective work/picture amusing at all as you can see here how I found poor Ozzie:

As you can see Ozzie passed on, expired and gone to seek its maker, has ceased to be(not resting), perished, has pleading demised(and not pining), run down the curtain and joined the choir invisible, is no more, this is a late Ozzie or an ex-Ozzie (if you will). Look, I’m just sayin’ that since no stipulations of whether or not Ozzie was to be found dead or alive, I think a little appreciation and some cash wasn’t too much to ask for in solving this not-so-groovy mystery. If I had a nail and hammer I would have nailed it to the pole.

I’m the Complaint Department Manager and this post has ceased to be.

This is what Western Illinois looks like to Tom Tom and oddly enough, that’s about as colorful as it gets. For the longest time, I wondered why Chicago was so windy, now I know. There ain’t a damn thing blocking the wind! On one side, Lake Michigan and its vastness, on the other, flat Kansas-looking Illinois…and its vastness. I saw dead birds all over the damn place, why? They died from exhaustion from finding a place to frickin’ land! It was flat, uninteresting, torturous and seemed to go on forever…kinda like watching Fox News. If you want a more scenic view and don’t care about time being saved, you may want to take the Route 66 way, seriously. You’ll also find better places to eat, believe me.

OH LOOK!!! IT’S A HILL!!!…and the only one for about 200 miles after you get past East St. Louis:

I swear to God, if you dropped me into that part of Illinois blindfolded, I would swear I was in Kansas somewhere. With this kind of driving, hallucinogens aren’t necessary as you will be seeing shit after a while of driving here, so save your ‘shrooms.

I am the Complaint Department Manager and I do not approve this kind of landscape.
